Title: SoF Looks to New Game

Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter, released by Ubi (booo) and developed by GRIN (whooo?), has caught the attention of some SoF members. Could this be then next game for SoF? Or do we have to hold out and hope Ubi releases Rainbow Sixv 5 for PC? We just have to wait and see!
P.S. Welcome to a few new members: Silverback, Trek, oNe, and PoPnYah. Stay away from Vamp...he bites!

For some reason this game is great on the 360.....i did try the demo and its cool but i cant justify paying for it twice.....

If you think competitive play in a 3rd person shooter on consoles is better than competitive play in a FPS on PC... then you're definitely delusional...
I played on Xbox Live for a long time... but only because my PC wasn't good enough to run jack shit. (played GR2 and Halo 2)
I still prefer having a nice PC over a 360. Sure GRAW is better on 360... but I'll take a crappy FPS over a great 3rd person shooter anyday...

lol... I played the demo... long ago.... and haven't played it ever since... until now... mainly because it's the only game worth laddernig... and I need to learn the game because I'm an administrator at a new ladder... and RvS will be one of the games we're hosting.
Sure, you can choose 1st or 3rd. However, the default = 3rd. Therefore, 99% of the competition will play 3rd person view only. Trust me. I played GR2 forever and nobody would ever play a first person only match.
I've played GRAW for 360. The game is easy. Too damn easy. It is a good game.... but it's toooooo damnnnn easyyyy.
I also play BF2 and CSS. Sure... consoles are fun... if you're playing for fun.... but for true competitive play, PC will beat consoles out every time.
