Description: which one should I purchase...

So, I need to purchase an mp3 player and I was wondering if you fagarachis' had any input for me. I need it for working out (weights and running), traveling, driving in my car, and just for chillin. I am leaning towards the zune, but I am a little worried about the size of it. Do any of you guys have a zune??? So what do you think, zune or ipod or other???

the nano seems to be the best all around...the zune is fairly large and i couldn't see myself lifting with it. i have a video ipod and the zune is a bit bulkier. also, i'm pretty sure i read somewhere that DRM is pissing zune people off, but i don't remember why.
if you're just going for music, nano should be great for you. if you want video, the video ipod works well.

I think the FLash drive/mp3 players are probably the best multi purpose thing out.... not that sexy but they do what you need; I have a Philips 30g mp3/hd bla bla... I end up using my Samsung Yepp (256mb?) for working out though... For ease of assessories... Apples are it; Zune looks promising though.

Thanks for the replies guys. I ended up going w/ the zune, I like everything about it, but for its size, and I am gettin around that easily. I hate the ipod due to it's itunes and like shaft said, the zune syncs up nicely w/ the media player. I was able to load 2000 songs and a bunch of pics on it in like 18 mins, I thought that was fast.
